Interesting, original story. Gabriel: realizing the bottles he made with drops of his blood was being used for terrible, deadly objectives, did what he could to prevent Celeste from carrying out her horrible plans. He hid them well, until Aria purchased them and began selling them with her own perfume inside. That’s where Gabriel and Aria’s story begins. Where the action starts—along with loads of drama and SPICE!
Great foundation to the ‘Blood Collector’ series. And BOY what a cliffhanger leading into book 2!

I am enjoying all of Ms. Jade Christy’s vampire romances and, of course, I had to read this newest one too. Luckily, all of her vampire love stories are different and well worth the read! The hero in this story is Gabriel de Clermont, sexy, hot and totally devoted to Aria. Both of them are similar in that they love perfume and the attraction might have been instant, yet it really works. Ms. Christy’s books have just gotten better with successive stories that she writes, and all the characters seem similar yet can still hold their own. They are, especially this one quick read, but Gabriel might be another dreamy guy that is scary but someone I can’t help but fall for too and have added him to my book boyfriend list. There is also Loki, who I like too. Maybe Aria should go for them both. I do plan to read the next one because I am curious to see what will happen, and it does end in a cliffhanger too.

Absolutely amazing story! MMC Gabriel De Clermont finds himself in a very tricky moral predicament in his vampire clan's plans for humans and makes a very risky decision that comes back to bite him (pun intended) a century later when FMC Aria Holt finishes schooling for becoming a perfumer and buying the very bottles Gabriel created and hid away.
It is a very, very fast-paced story of love, intrigue, and sacrifice. You do have to be aware of the time shift from past to present every once in a while though.
Amazing start to The Blood Collector Series.

I actually liked the perfume angle, it’s weirdly clever and ties into the plot. Aria makes some questionable choices but stays interesting, and Gabriel is broody enough to make me roll my eyes and swoon at the same time...

Well this is a wonderful, fun, suspenseful story. With twists that kept me turning the pages.
Jade does not disappoint.
This story is very well written. I enjoyed all the characters. The story line is great...I highly recommend this book. It's a wonderful Modern Vampire Romantasy.

This book had me from the first page. If you love a slow burn, fast paced, vampire romance this book is for you. While reading this gave me all the feels I was looking for and that includes a few laughs throughout to break the tension.

Book 1 of The Blood Collector series of 4 books. What a fabulous start.
The characters were so very well written and complex, compelling, complicated and totally captivating. Plot was intriguing, exciting, suspenseful and well paced. World building was excellent and expertly drawn. Cannot wait for more of this series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.
